Get your engine, ABS, and airbag light checked here!

Your vehicle's computer system has self-testing capability. When the computer senses that there is a problem with some of the components, it stores the corresponding trouble code(s) in it's memory. As a result, your "Check Engine" or "Service Engine Soon" light comes on to tell you that there is a problem and your car needs to be looked at. To properly diagnose what is wrong, you need to bring your car in for us to take a look at it. We hook up a scanner to the car's computer and retrieve the stored trouble code(s). The codes are then looked up in the service manual provided by the car's manufacturer. The service manual contains the list of possible codes and describes what each code means and what needs to be tested. The code itself does not tell exactly what component is defective. It only indicates where to look and what engine parameter is out of normal range. After discovering the problem code, we will perform further testing to pinpoint a defective part or adjustment.
